The OzAPP Awards are seeking the best mobile, web and cloud app concepts across the Asia Pacific region. Initiated by Curtin University and global venture capitalist Bill Tai, the competition aims to foster dialogue and collaboration between innovators, researchers, investors and industry, and to further stimulate innovative business culture around Australia.
Submissions close on 5 December 2014, and the top 5 finalists will be flown to Perth (WA) to pitch at the West Tech Fest in February 2015. First prize is a USD$100,000 convertible note from Qualcomm Ventures, and top 20 finalists will receive $24,000 of hosting, marketing support and mentoring from Rackspace (over 12 months), and six months of Hootsuite Pro and Hootsuite University for their social media needs.
