TIA Awards 2015 Rob and Antony Ceravolo at SineManaging Director Rob Chalmers presented the ARI-sponsored Start-up Award to Antony Ceravolo, founder of Sine, at the recent Technology Industry Association (TIA) 2015 awards dinner. This award recognised a business (trading for fewer than three years) that has demonstrated excellence in the technology industry.

Sine is a visitor management software platform using tablet and mobile technologies. It allows visitor check-in from a mobile device, automated host alerts on visitor arrival, instant visitor reporting and messaging capabilities, printing visitor badges if desired, and the ability to check-in contractors at remote sites.

Sine was launched in October 2014, and recently raised a $1.1 million seed round from investors in Australia, Europe, and the US to accelerate its tech development. According to Antony, Sine currently has over 100 clients across Australia, the UK, and New Zealand, and is projected to hit 1,000 over the next six months. Its clients are spread between industrial warehousing sites, office and corporate, medical venues, and schools.

In his speech, Antony highlighted that “In Australia, and particularly Adelaide, we have some of the best software developers in the world.” He also acknowledged that he is grateful for the opportunity to build what Sine plans to be a global business out of Adelaide.

ARI is very happy to support new innovation to help benefit the state and economy.
